Today, we are excited to open WhatsApp Channels in over 150 countries and provide you with a personalized way to receive important updates. We welcome thousands of organizations, sports teams, artists and thinkers that people can follow on WhatsApp.

⁙ Editing: Soon admins will be able to modify their updates for up to 30 days, at which point we'll remove them from our servers.

⁙ Forwarding: Every time you post an update to a chat or group, a link to the channel is included so people can learn more.

 

This is just the beginning. We will continue to add more features and develop the channel based on user feedback. We plan to allow anyone to create a channel in the coming months.
